Although I own one myself, the design of RIM’s Blackberry devices are quite often not that spectacular and instead look pretty sober compared to its rivals. However, designer Daniel Yoon decided to spice it up a little bit by introducing the Blackberry Empathy Phone Concept. We probably won’t see phones like this anytime soon, but this futuristic concept is very appealing to the eye. But, according to the designer, what really makes this phone stand out is that it comes with a mood ring that is able to sense human emotions and share those through social networking with your closest friends. Also, the keypad changes colour according to the emotional state sensed from phone calls and messages. By wearing the mood ring the Blackberry Empathy allows the user to interact with others based on their real feelings, you can avoid the sharing and sensing part by simply not wearing the mood ring at all. I’m not really sure about the whole emotional sharing thing but design-wise this concept definitely convinces me. I guess some things are just too good to be true, at least that’s what they say.. Smartphones seem to be a necessity nowadays and people carry them around wherever they go, everyone has one.. Some of them come with cases right out-of-the-box, but with the after-market for these cases getting bigger and bigger everyone is offered a chance to choose his or her way of protection. Deadjeans is one of many initiatives who offers just that but I really like their concept and the look of their product. All they need you to do is remove the back pockets of a pair of jeans, label them to decide what will be the back and front of the case and send them to Deadjeans. The cases are available for the iPhone 3G(S), the iPhone 4 and the Blackberry 9700 (and every other smarthphone with the same size). More pictures and an instruction video below.

After the introduction of the 6th generation iPod Nano from Apple it was just a matter of time for the first watch straps to show up. HEX Designs offers these silicone straps in 9 different colours with a simple pop-in pop-out design, integrated control buttons, audio port cover and above all it offers protection. The only thing I'm worried about is the placement of the headphone cable when listening music, but overall it's a nice and simple design for a reasonable price. More pictures below.

Travelling in style is something not all of us are that familiar with, but we all try to make things as comfortable as possible when we go on a trip. Flying first class is off course one way of travelling in style although it’s still seen as a privilege to make it happen. There is another option though that steps it up another notch though MOST Mobile Specials, a German based company, offers an unique travelling experience with their FUTURIA Sports + Spa that was unveiled in August this year. A fully air-conditioned lounge, a berth with two separate beds, a roof terrace with a Whirlpool and even a garage to take your sports car with you are all on board as you cruise around in your FUTURIA. With room for 10 people friends and family are all welcome to travel with you too.
Oh.. Before I forget, the price tag reads $ 840,000! Hurry up though, only 20 are to be built..

| "Mr. President, will you please sign my iPad?" |
Normally when outrageous fans go on a hunt for an autograph they quickly pull out a piece of paper, a tissue or whatever they can reach for at the moment of truth. But during a rally at the University of Washington someone in the audience asked for the unusual. Sylvester Caan reached out to Obama and asked him to sign his iPad, and while at first he seemed surprised he eventually made it happen. Obama kicks ass haha!
A screenshot and footage of the signing below.

I think it's fair to say Apple and innovation go hand in hand. A few hours ago Apple's CEO Steve Jobs publicly announced the brand new MacBook Air that will be available in two sizes from now on, an updated 13,3-inch version and a brand 11,6-inch version. Somehow they managed to make the new MacBook Air even thinner and lighter than it already was which makes the MacBook Air the ideal travelers notebook. After the announcement was made sales immediately started on Apple's website.
